| IBM’s 19P4882 is a Travan 7 (TR-7) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of at least 228.7 meters which enables a native data storage capacity of 20GB which can be expanded up to 40GB when compressed. It features the use of a new belt design that provides steady tension and a special stippled base plate design which provides improved rigidity and a stable tape path. The IBM 19P4882 tape cartridge also has a cover that shields against static discharge and airborne debris and furthermore features the use of Durastat on its drive rollers to dissipate static. |
