HP LTO-3 Tape Cartridge
HP's C7973A is a Linear Tape-Open 3(LTO-3) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 680m which enables a native data storage capacity of 400GB that can be expanded up to 800GB when compressed. It features the use of a smoother base-film and smaller magnetic particles that increase bit density allowing more data in the same amount of tape. The HP C7973A tape cartridge can be used for up to 260 full backups.
