Imation's 40869 is a Black Watch 9840 Volsafe format tape cartridge. It has a native data storage capacity of 20GB which can be expanded up to 80GB when compressed. It is available pre-labelled from the original manufacturer. The Imation 40869 tape cartridge features the use of a factory written servo pattern which keeps the heads aligned on data tracks for precise data reading and writing leading to improved reliability.
