Sun's 003-3862-01 is a 9840 Enterprise Tapes format tape cartridge. It has a native data storage capacity of 20 to 40 GB. It uses Polyethylene Naphthalate (PEN) as substrate and is backwards compatible with the three previous generations of StorageTek tape drives. The Sun 003-3862-01 tape cartridge has up to 30 years of archival life.
