| Sony's DL4TK88 DLT-IV is a Digital linear Tape 4(DLT-4) format tape cartridge. It has a 557 meters tape length which enables a native data storage capacity of 40GB that can be expanded upto 80GB when compressed. It features the use of Azimuth recording technology that offers high-density recording and outstanding data integrity with ultra-low bit error rate. Sony’s latest binder system helps this tape cartridge achieve a 1,000,000 head pass durability and reduces wear on the heads as well. This tape media has a compressed data transfer rate of 12MB/s. The Sony DL4TK88 tape cartridge has an archival life of 30 years and is compatible with DLT 4000,7000,8000 and VS80 tape drives. |
