Sony DGDAT72 DDS-5 is a Digital Audio Tape 72(DAT 72) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 170 meters which enables a native data storage capacity of 36GB that can be expanded up to 72GB when compressed. It features the use of Sony's outstanding dual, ultra thin magnetic layer and helical scanning technologies which enhance data recording density and speed. As well as the above, Sonys DGDAT72 also features Sony's durable HCL binder which increases stability resulting in low error rates and excellent reliability.
