Sony DGD150P is a Digital Data Storage 4(DDS-4) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 150 meters which enables a native data storage capacity of 20GB that can be expanded up to 40GB when compressed. It features the use of Sony's High Cross-Linkage (HCL) binder which minimizes friction and RDP technology that helps to rotate the tape smoothly and reduce high torque. Sony DGD150P tape cartridge also features Sony's Helical Scan technology which reduces tape stress and allows rapid data transfer.
