Sony DDS-2 Tape Cartridge

Sony DGD120P is a Digital Data Storage 2 (DDS-2) format tape cartridge. It  has a tape length of 120 meters which enables a native data storage capacity of 4GB that can be expanded up to 8GB  when compressed. It features the use of Helical scan technology which enhances  data density and a highly durable HCL(High Cross Linkage) binder that easily  handles the stress of repeated use, minimizing friction and optimizing tape  performance through up to 2000 read/write cycles. The outstanding magnetic transfer  characteristics ensure an archival life of 30 years and with its strong plastic  cartridge, Sony's DGD120P tape  cartridge is well protected from accidental drops and shocks.
